Malcom on rhythm guitar only joins in during the choruses and outro (while the solo is played). So we cut out the beginning of the song and start this ActionTab just before his guitar first comes in (although both guitars can be heard playing together).
So Malcom plays:
Chorus 1 - Chorus 2* - Outro
* Chorus 1 and 2 are the same, so once you've learned 1, just click here to go directly to the outro part.
Malcom doesn't play anything else between these sections. Only Angus plays through the verses. Check out the Lead ActionTab for his guitar part.
For the most part, Malcom plays the same chord sequences as Angus, but slightly fuller. That just means that more strings are used for the chords. So if you can play Angus' guitar part already, this will be easy to pick up. You'll already know the basic A - D - G - D chord sequences. The choruses that Maclom plays are very repetitive so once you know a few bars, you'll know the rest.
The main divergence between the two guitars is just before the solo. Angus plays between a D major and D sus4, whereas Malcom switches between D major and the top half of a G major chord instead.
