The song was originally recorded in Eb tuning, however we've played it in standard to save you re-tuning your strings. We've taken out Dave Mustaine's guitar part so you can concentrate purely on the lead guitar. However, you can hear both guitars together in the normal speed audio.
There are 7 main riffs in the song. Most are slightly different to the rhythm guitar played by Dave Mustaine. Use these quick links to jump to them in the ActionTab:
Riff 1 - This little ascending lick is played right at the start, and later on as a link between song sections. Marty Friedman plays a lead harmony over Dave's intro part, using a higher scale.
Riff 2 - This is used for the verses and is the main song riff. It's played the same way as Dave Mustaine's part.
Riff 3 - This is used for the choruses. It is structurally the same as the rhythm guitar, but play the chord stabs higher - as shown here.
Riff 4 - Pre-solo riff. Same as Mustaine's rhythm guitar.
Riff 5 - Solo.
Riff 6 - Here Marty plays the exact same intro riff as Dave on the rhythm guitar.
Riff 7 - Outro. This is just the same as the intro riff except with a different ending.
