Here we take a look at the Hammer On technique. This is a very common guitar technique and is often used with Pull Offs. Use your fretboard fingers to firmly hammer down onto notes on the fretboard. This produces the note, and means that you are able to hit notes quickly without even using your strumming hand. It is very common in guitar solos or for adding a little extra to chords as you play them.
