Anon / Traditional

In music we refer to authors of music as 'Anonymous / Traditional' when we don't know for sure who originally composed the song or tune. This is particularly the case with older, traditional pieces of music, which may have been passed on and altered many times from their original composition. Many of these musical pieces are still popular today in various forms and versions.
